Self loading Transport (SL05)

The SL05 is a high output bale transport.  Using a multi function joystick, the operator controls each of the five main functions.

  1. Swinging in or out the drawbar.
  2. Operating the bale squeeze mechanism.
  3. Raising or lowering the loading arm.
  4. Opening and closing the tailgate.
  5. Tipping or dropping the floor.
The SL05 drawbar is hydraulically offset to align the loading arm with the bales.  Bales are picked up in the same direction as they roll off the wrapper minimising field traffic.The loading arm clamps the bale securely onto the trailer and the angle of the bed rolls each bale onto the next.Five bales can be loaded in as little as two minutes.  The drawbar is then moved back to the transport position.  All rams are fitted with check valves for safety.
On its way to storage point the SL05 is directly behind the tractor, ideal for small roads and narrow gateways.When back at the storage area the back tailgate is dropped and the trailer is lifted to allow bales to roll off onto its heavy duty mat.As the bales roll off, the SL05 is on its way to pick up another load.
